Apostolate of Accompanying Young Families
The Apostolate of Accompanying Young Families is an initiative established by the Holy Episcopal Synod of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church with a special focus on supporting and guiding young families in their spiritual and family life.
Through this Apostolate, the Church seeks to help young couples live the Sacrament of Marriage in its fullness and holiness. It aims to guide families in discerning and following the will of God through a life of mutual love, self-giving, openness to new life, and faithful witness to the love of Christ. Rooted in the rich spiritual and ecclesial traditions of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, the Apostolate encourages families to grow in faith, unity, and Christian values.
This ministry is specially intended to accompany newly married couples and families within the first ten years of marriage. While the primary beneficiaries are the couples themselves, the Apostolate also extends its care and support to their immediate family members, recognizing the importance of family relationships in nurturing a healthy Christian home.
Every newly married couple in the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church automatically becomes a part of this Apostolate, enabling them to journey together with the Church in faith, fellowship, and family life.
